An Introduction

Taking the time to build community–to get to know your people–will have long-lasting benefits.
— Clifton Taulbert

Welcome to the Heritage Community blog—the place for all things community events, interest, and engagement.

Whether you live here or just want to visit, the community blog will help you get to know Heritage inside and out.

Heritage was established in 2014 as a vision of the leadership of Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE). Kyle Parker, JD, CEO of ACHE, is very passionate about the mission of Heritage as a whole: to provide an environment that promotes a lifestyle of overall health. The goal of the community is to connect people with each other, local merchants, and nature through common spaces that are walkable and accessible to everyone.

New urbanism is a design concept that encourages environmental responsibility and community participation by way of smaller streets, open green spaces, and the ease of walking to local shops, restaurants, and services. While not a new concept, Heritage is the first destination in our area to be founded on a new urban design. With many more things still ahead in the development, we are excited for everything happening right now in our community!

The Village at Heritage is home to our community merchants. Providing everything from spa services and dry cleaning to artisan desserts and handmade pupusas, our merchants have a passion for providing unmatched service and top-notch experiences.

Looking for your dream home?

The Porches has all that you’re looking for; classic, southern charm with modern amenities. Phase 2 of our development is beginning with semi-custom homes for purchase. With trails for walking, hiking, and biking, local restaurants, and services, there is something for everyone.

We invite you to plan your visit today. Come and enjoy all that Heritage has to offer to you and your family!
